Real Estate Law :

  • Acquisitions and transfers of assets (direct or indirect): organization of bids, project audits, defining the legal context of investments, assistance in drafting and in negotiating of acquisitions and financing agreements;
  • Advice for real estate owners in France (individuals, French for foreign funds)
  • Advice and litigation related to acquisitions or sales of real estate (forced sales, drafting and/or disputes on immobilization fees/down payments…),
  • Leases: Commercial or residential leases: counsel (negotiation, drafting, renewal) and litigation (summary proceedings, lawsuits on merits and/or assessments)
  • Condominium owners (advice and litigation for owners, property management, owners’ associations)
  • Copropriété (conseil et contentieux pour des copropriétaires, syndicats ou syndics de copropriété)

Construction Law :

  • Advice and litigation in relation to builders’ liability (defect liability, faulty workmanship, failure to complete, damages for rehousing), including during technical assessments;
  • Housing disputes (eviction, furniture seizure…)
  • Legal drafts for realty transactions;
  • Legal assistance with general contractors or builders;
  • Negotiation and drafting contracts linked to construction (off-plan, turnkey realty property, assistance to the contracting authority)

Insurance :

  • Insurance auditing
  • Advice and litigation with regard to French ‘dommage-ouvrage’ insurance
  • Professional liability, material damages, operating losses claims…

Property Development :

  • Counsel in analysis and legal set-up of real estate transactions,
  • Drafting and negotiation of contracts for property development, potential construction contracts.
